One day, Mai Sakurajima notices that she can't be seen by others, so she dresses up in a bunny costume as a way to celebrate her newfound "freedom". However, when her classmate Sakuta Azusagawa does see her, he realizes that he might have a clue as to how to get Mai out of this state. Thus, begins Sakuta's journey of breaking down psychological complexes to their bare essentials and, hopefully, curing them at the root.
