The second season of Castlevania: Nocturne is a great way to kick off the new year as this new installment is set to have all the action, drama, and epic vampire vs. human fights that you've been craving. Between the character you know and love returning to your screens and the answering of questions that you've had since the very first season of the Netflix original anime series, there isn't. single reason why you should miss this release. Season 2 will kick off from where the previous season left off with the fate of the world being in the hands of Richter Belmont and his allies' hands. Things have escalated much farther than anyone expected, especially with the looming threat of Erzsebet achieving full strength. Season 2 will highlight how Richter seeks to secure the Belmont legacy
The name of the game is still the same --- stop vampires from messing with the peace and tranquility of humamity. However, when the vampires are fighting back with everything they have against those who are so bold to rise against them, the power difference between human and vampire becomes abundantly clear. Having Alucard on their side may help prevent an all-out bloodbath, but Richter and his fellow vampire-defying team are going to have to get stronger and wiser if they want to provide to be useful on the battlefield.
With his back against the wall and with the looming threat of total extinction growing closer each day, how will Richter be able to rise against it all? Will he sink or swim? Most importantly, what is he willing to sacrifice to secure his victory and cement himself in the Belmont legacy?

"In Season 2, Richter and his band of vampire hunters, now joined by Alucard, are in a desperate race against time. Erzsebet Báthory, the Vampire Messiah, who already seems invincible, seeks the full power of the goddess Sekhmet so she can plunge the world into endless darkness and terror. "
In addition to this, showrunner Kevin Kolde teased Alucard's involvement in the upcoming sophomore season, stating, "Alucard is going to lead Richter and Annette to Paris to try and find the last element that would allow Erzsebet to achieve the full power of Sekhmet and become even more powerful than she was in Season 1."
