BanG Dream! Ave Mujica isn't your typical musical anime where things are always happy and easygoing. Rather, this 2025 anime installment shows the darker side that can come with the music industry, especially when it comes to bands containing members with their own dark secrets and past lives.

Sakiko Togawa created a musical band full of five talented members. However, she didn't do so by normal means, and, instead, told the band that she could give them everything they could ever ask for so long as they exchange their lives in return. Reluctantly, they agreed, kickstarting a rise to fame that surpasses their wildest dreams. But, if only they knew the sharp fall that awaited them as more secrets began to spill.

A band sullied before it even hit the main stage and a devious girl who may be leading her fellow bandmates to ruin---is there a solution that will allow everything and everyone to return to normal? Or has Sakiko Togawa gone to the point of no return by dragging everything close to her in the pooling abyss? All these questions and more will be answered soon enough.
