From Haikyu!! and Free! to Rising Impact and Stars Align, anime fans can’t seem to get enough of all the many shows and films belonging to the sports anime genre.
We certainly don’t blame them, as these anime shows range from being super competitive and having us hang on to the edge of our seats to being super wholesome and teaching us the importance of friendship. Or how about when we have an anime like Blue Lock where we get to learn how to be selfish and aggressive with our lifelong goals?
There is a plethora of things we can take from these titles to apply to our everyday lives. And we’re super glad that one additional anime seems to be joining this genre full of the elites---Sorairo Utility.

Why Sorairo Utility is perfect for golf-lovers
Inspired by the initial version of the anime that was released in 2021, Sorairo Utility expands upon the story that follows three girls whose adoration for golf creates a bond that brings them together despite their huge differences. For these three, getting better at golf opens up different pathways to the dreams want to achieve. But how exactly will they improve at the sport?

“The story of Sorairo Utility follows three young women who explore their love of golf: Minami, a beginner at the game who picks up golf in an effort to distinguish herself with a hobby; Haruka, a gifted golfer who excels at the sport; and Ayaka, a young lady who aims to become an influencer on social media.”

As reported by Crunchyroll, It Must Be Heaven’s Kengo Saito serves as the director and character designer for the title. Kengo Saito is joined by Yu Sato, Aya Satsuki, and Aki Mizuki, who are the series composer and script writers. Daisuke Horita will be our music and sound director, while Yostar Pictures will be our animation production backing the project.
Sorairo Utility doesn’t have a release date just yet, but the anime show is confirmed to arrive in January 2025.
