The 3 anime you should be watching on Netflix in June 2024

Netflix is bringing forth three exciting anime releases in June 2024 and we're here to tell you all about them!

Last month, the streaming service gave us a plethora of great anime titles such as Blood of Zeus season 2 and Pokémon Horizons: The Series part 2. Both anime were great follow-ups to their initial releases, making the anime community more than ready to sink their teeth into any other additional seasons that are on the way. Fortunately for everyone, Netflix is bringing us just that and so much more!

Beginning with an anime mash-up that no one saw coming... Baki Hanma vs. Kengan Ashura!

Baki Hanma vs. Kengan Ashura

Release Date: June 6

This new anime installment will combine two of the most aggressive wrestlers anime has ever seen —Baki and Ohma "Ashura" Tokita. These individuals are set to star alongside each other in this anime release. But these two powerhouses are not joining forces. Instead, they're both going to exchange blows in a decisive battle where only the strongest of the duo will rise to the top.

Baki is a bit younger than Ashura. Even so, that doesn't mean that he hasn't been exceptionally pruned to handle anything and everything thrown his way. On the other hand, Ashura is a tad older, which means he's been alive longer to gain incredible experience in the ring. In this sense, both fighters are pretty evenly matched, meaning this battle is going to come down to a sliver of a difference in strength, mind, or experience.

Rising Impact

Release Date: June 22

Rising Impact tells a riveting story about a young golf prodigy who sets off on a journey to become one of the best golfers ever. He has a long way to go as a young boy. However, so long as he never strays from his path full of triumphs and tribulations, it's safe to say that he'll achieve his goals much faster than he knows!

Although this anime is sport-heavy, it's not only meant for sports fans. In fact, upon watching, you'll see that the title has a great way of tugging at your heartstrings while also doing a great job of getting you excited for major moments that are pivotal to the prodigy's growth. You'll also witness many events that will absolutely teach you a life lesson or two, so be sure not to count this anime out too quickly!

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse season 1 part 2

Release Date: Sometime in June

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse season 1 part 2 is the continuation of the first installment that you know and love! You can absolutely expect the follow-up season to discuss more about the events that you've seen in the first half, such as what Percival will do with his fate that declares he and three other knights are destined to destroy the world.

The second installment is set to expand on this story, highlighting the obstacles that stand in his way as well as what he will do to overcome them. There's also a good chance that you may see a couple of familiar faces this season, too. (Fingers crossed!)
