Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War episodes 25 & 26 release date and time

Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War will release the last two episodes of the second part of this final arc this weekend. Episodes 25 and 26 will premiere back to back as the second cour comes to an end. After the last episode, the upcoming release will continue the Faceoff between Squad Zero and Yhwach as the Soul Society hangs in the balance.

In the final installment of TYBW part 2, Ichibei Hyosube will fight Yhwach and reveal his Zanpakuto, which resembles a paintbrush. His powers have been teased as he has been blessed by the Soul King and the rest of Squad Zero face off against the Royal Guard.

When does Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War episode 25 & 26 release?

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War episodes 25 & 26 are titled "The Master" and "Black". The episodes are expected to be released on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 11:00 PM in Japan. It is also being released on Hulu and on Disney Plus in the U.S. Additionally, the English dubbed version will be released on Hulu as well, four weeks after the Japanese dubbed version.

What happened last in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War episode 24?

In the previous episode, the latest installment started off with a flashback between a young Yhwach and Squad Zero Captain, Ichibei Hyosube. The two were negotiating as they had opposing views on the state of the world concerning the Soul Reapers and the Quincies. Ichibei implored Yhwach to enjoy his Quincy empire while the Soul Society focused on the balance of the world. The two come to a face-off as Ichibei is able to seal Yhwach's powers of the Soul King.

The flashback scene ends and shifts towards the present day as Yhwach arrives at the soul palace with Uryu and Haschwalt. The Quincies are stopped by Senjumaru of Squad Zero and they begin to clash. Senjumaru soul King soldiers fight Yhwach's royal guards and Sternritter "W" is brought out to deal with the onslaught. Sternritter "W" is able to evade all attacks until Senjumaru is able to trap him which results in defeat.

Yhwach responds by bringing forth four more Sternritters as they are able to deal some damage. Senjumaru is shot in the head by Sternritter Lillie Barro. It is then revealed that the Quincies are in the midst of an illusion and a fake palace by Squad Zero as Senjumaru is still alive. The Quincies are trapped in a wooden prison by Kirio Hikifune, another Squad Zero member.

The Squad Zero members reveal themselves one after another after the Quincies are caught in the wooden cage. Nimaiya Oh-Etsu , the Number One Zanpukuto Creator, arrives with his sword encased in jelly and easily deals with the Schutzstaffel, otherwise known as the Royal Guard. Nimaiya's sword is one of a kind and is so sharp that it can not fit in a sheath and the weapon deals major damage as he incapacitates them with one attack each. Yhwach then uses a device to teleport himself out of the wooden cage and he comes face to face with Ichebei Hyosube. The episode ends as the two prepare to fight while the rest of Squad Zero clashes with Yhwach's soldiers.
