Demon Slayer episode 4 preview: Release time and what to expect

Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc's riveting story continued with a third episode that followed Tanjiro Kamado's first days in the super-intensive Hashira training with Uzui Tengen.

While other demon slayer soldiers were struggling to keep up with Uzui's physically draining drills and exercises, Tanjiro made it look very easy since he was able to outperform anyone and everyone around him. As expected from our talented boy!

So far, the story is progressing at a very slow and steady pace. Even so, that doesn't mean that you should miss out on a single second of what's to come. That's why we're here to tell you all about when you can stream the next episode as well as what you can expect to see in Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc episode 4.

Just like last week, a brand-new episode of the Hashira Training Arc will head your way this Sunday, June 2, at 10:45 a.m. PT (or 1:45 p.m. ET) on Crunchyroll! This episode is titled "To Bring a Smile to One's Face" and it will be around 30 minutes long (with commercials).

Episode 4 to show The Mist Hashira's intensive training

Now that Tanjiro's training with Uzui Tengen is over, he is off to train with Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira.

Like Uzui, Tanjiro has fought on Muichiro's side. Even so, Muichiro isn't going to let their past battles together be a gauging point of how far Tanjiro can go. Rather, the Mist Hashira knows that he's going to have to force Tanjiro to be even better than he was in the Swordsmith Village if he's ever going to want to come close enough to defeating Muzan, the greatest demon to ever walk the Earth.

Nevertheless, with Tanjiro being the powerhouse that he is, we expect him to be able to handle anything and everything thrown his way.

The next episode in the series will, hopefully, also fill us in on the progress that Shinobu Kocho, the Insect Hashira, has made thus far with researching why Nezuko, Tanjiro's sister, was able to overcome the sun. After all, these are questions many have, too. The faster Shinobu comes to finding out why Nezuko is different from other demons, the better it will be for all demon slayers. But they must hurry soon because Muzan is already lurking in the shadows, waiting to make his next move.
