The first episode of Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc set up the upcoming events of the season so well that we can't help but bite our nails in anticipation of the things we are due to see soon.

Between the boiling tensions between the Hashira members and the deteriorating health of Kagaya Ubuyashiki, it seems as though our demon slayers are overdue for a nasty hit to their side. Pair that with the fact that the Muzan's demon army seems to be growing stronger by the minute, we're more than certain that the good side will have their work cut out for them.

Even so, the Hashira and their allies are not going down without a fight and are even working proactively to find a way to understand the science behind demons to finally take down Muzan.

The story will definitely pick up and before you know it, we're at another decisive battle that keeps us on the edge of our seats. But before we get there, let's take a look at what you can expect to go down in the next episode of Demon Slayer as well as what time you can check out the brand-new episode.

It's a good thing you're here because there have been some slight changes to this anime's release schedule. This time, the next episode in the Hashira Training Arc will be released on Sunday, May 19, at 10:45 a.m. PT (or 1:45 p.m. ET) on Crunchyroll.

The second episode and the remaining episodes will be released at this new time for the foreseeable future. Be sure to check back in with us for any updates, though!

Episode 2 to shed light on Giyuu's thought process

One huge mystery episode 1 gave us was why Giyuu Tomioka, the Water Hashira, refused to assist with the Hashira Training. Being the cold and distant person he tends to be, he didn't give much reason as to why he didn't want to help fellow peers.

Fortunately, we're bound to learn more about Giyuu's hidden reasons. After all the next episode is titled "Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka's Pain," so we are going to get more insight into what he's going through.

Also, with a few Hashira members' training done and over with, we may get a chance to see the next couple of Hashira members' intense training and learn how it helps the Demon Slayer corps grow stronger.

All in all, the second episode of Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc isn't something you'll want to miss. Here's how to watch!
