This September, Netflix is bringing us a brand-new anime title that we can't wait to see since it's definitely different than what we're used to. That anime is none other than Blue Giant!

Check out the official announcement below:

Blue Giant is sure to remind you of titles like Carole & Tuesday and Blue Period because of the protagonist's dedication to their craft, but will also remind you of anime titles like Kotaro Lives Alone and Violet Evergarden because of its slice-of-life feel. Even so, don't think this anime is one you should throw to the side.

Here's everything to know about Blue Giant!

Blue Giant follows a saxphonist's dream at becoming the very best

Dai Miyamoto makes the brave decision to leave it all behind and head to Tokyo, Japan to become the greatest jazz saxophonist in the world. His courage is a step in the right direction, as he'll need all the confidence he can get to be able to overcome the many roadblocks in his way. What's more, with how many connections and relationships he'll need to cultivate, it's clear that his greatest strengths are going to take him much farther than his weaknesses.

But he has weaknesses nonetheless.

Dai is on a journey where he will rise many times but fall just as much. So long as he never gives up on his wildest dreams, however, there's nothing he and his fellow peers can't do.
