Mashle: Magic and Muscles season 2 episode 7 recap
In the previous episode, Innocent Zero appears in the beginning as he is revealed to be traveling in the sky with a dragon toward Easton Academy. Back at the academy, Mash has begun his battle with Macaron as he unleashed his Spine magic move. Kaldo observes the fight and tells the viewers that Macaron used a sound cushion to avoid damage from the attack. Macaron and Mash continue to trade blows until they came to a standstill.
Macaron urges Mash to give up his creampuff as it was hindering their fight. Macaron then uses "Sounds Fa" to damage Mash's eardrums. Mash realizes he won't be able to blatantly use brute force in this fight and Macaron challenges his strategy. Macaron subsequently summons a large orchestra to immobilize Mash.
Mash burrows into the ground to avoid the surrounding orchestra and reach Macaron. Mash pulls Macaron into the ground and uses "Quadriceps Magic" to kick Macaron. Mash then immediately unleashes a barrage of punches toward Macaron. Macaron brushes off the flurry of punches and undergoes a transformation. Mash is shocked at macarons' metamorphosis and Macaron reveals his true form.
The episode then cuts to Ryoh, a divine visionary, as he is informed that Innocent Zero is heading towards the school. Ryoh is alarmed and trusts Kaldo and Orter to handle the situation at Easton. The episode returns to Mash's fight and Macaron reveals that his true form allows him to move at the speed of sound.
As he snaps his fingers, he basically teleports towards Mash. Mash had to figure out a way to move faster than the speed of sound to counteract Macaron's ability. mash places his hand on a wall and uses the concept of sound transfer to react to Macaron's snap and he is able to land a counterattack. As Macaron attempts to snap his fingers again, he finds out that his fingers are covered in tarter sauce and Mash lands a lariat attack on him.
Macaron then elects to use his secondth technique, "Death Gong". He summons huge bells that are timed to go off in a minute. Mash had one minute to break Macaron's hand and he began to chase Macaron away for sixty seconds. Mash then decides to use the ground to close Macaron's direction and gives him the choice to flee either right or left. As Macaron chooses his direction, Mash grabs him with his pinky finger and is able to snap his wand. The bells disappear and Macaron admits defeat. As Mash is declared the victor, the sky shatters and Innocent Zero enters the scene. He uses a technique to stop time and comes forward to Mash but is interrupted by Wahlberg at the end of the episode.
