Mashle: Magic and Muscles isn't over yet! Anime gets sequel order

It's official! Mashle: Magic and Muscles is returning with another installment and we cannot contain our excitement!

The super popular anime rose to fame in 2023 after fans got a whiff of its very catchy opening. However, upon further diving into the anime, the community quickly learned that this is an anime full of comedy, passion, and, most importantly, really epic fights that are sure to be talked about for many years to come. What's more, the story of a regular boy trying to become the best there is will never get old, so for Mashle, fame was not an if but a when.

Whether you're new to the Mashle hype or have been here since the very first episode, news of a continuation for this anime may be music to your ears. That's why we're here to tell you all about what you can expect from the sequel!

As reported by Crunchyroll, it hasn't been confirmed what the sequel will be in terms of the format. That means this continuation could be another full season of episodes, or it could be a film. So stay tuned. But what we do know for sure is where this story is going.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles will continue to explore Mash's journey to being the strongest ever

When we last saw Mash, the protagonist of this anime, he was reigning in the victory of coming out on top of all the trials and tribulations thrown at him and his fellow peers at his school, Easton Magic Academy.

Innocent Zero, the show's main villain, tried to take down Mash with his string of evil minions. Be that as it may, Innocent Zero swung and missed — this time.

Whether they want to acquire Mash's ability to be super strong without magic or they want to put a stop to Mash's mission to erase the divide between magic and non-magic users, we expect villains like Innocent Zero to continue to come out of the woodwork to put Mash down. But this cream puff-loving student hasn't and will not go down without a fight.

Besides Mash's plights, we will also meet more important characters and get more insight into who they are and what they can do. Most of these characters are Divine Visionaries, also known as some of the most powerful magic users to ever exist. But despite their reputation as an esteemed collective, they don't seem to agree on every front, especially when it comes to Mash.

We can only guess what else the Divine Visionaries have up their sleeves. But so far, we can't say for certain it's not something that will get in Mash's way.
