Megan Thee Stallion and anime go hand in hand, which is why we're more than happy that the Grammy Award-winning musician is finally going to incorporate an anime beat in one of her songs for her upcoming album (as reported by ComicBook).

Megan recently took to her Instagram, @theestallion, to tease to her fans that she has the clearance to use one of her favorite anime songs (or original soundtracks) on her album.

"Yall will never believe what anime sample I got cleared for my album," the rapper wrote on her Instagram Story. "This has never been done/very hard to do. Yall are going to scream."

Unfortunately, Megan did not tease any further than this, so we don't know which sample she is slated to use. However, fans do have their guesses as to which anime may be the most likely! Here are the eight we can definitely see happening!

Fans guess which anime Megan Thee Stallion will reference on her upcoming album

As we all know, Megan has always been very vocal about her love for Jujutsu Kaisen's Gojo Satoru, so much so that the Houston rapper cosplayed as the white-haired character during her trip to Japan earlier this year.

What's more, Jujutsu Kaisen has been recently named the most popular anime, meaning if Megan was able to use one of this anime's songs (say "Kaikai Kitan" by EVE or "Where Our Blue Is" by Tatsuya Kitani) we're sure that the anime community will lose their minds!

In addition to Jujutsu Kaisen, here are some other possible choices of anime the rapper might sample from:

  • Attack on Titan - In past interviews, Megan has stated that this is one of her favorite anime of all time.
  • Black Clover - In her Hot Ones interview, the rapper gives a shout-out to the anime's main character, Asta, and even goes so far as to say that she loves the things about him that other fans may have found annoying.
  • Inuyasha - During her interview with Crunchyroll, Megan confirmed that this was one of the first anime that she had ever watched. She even used to have a big crush on the protagonist of this anime.
  • My Hero Academia - Megan has not only cosplayed a few characters but has also expressed her love for the anime many times before.
  • One Piece - Another anime that Megan has highlighted on her Instagram! She is knee-deep in this longest-running anime of all time, so she has tons of this anime's openings and endings to choose from.
  • Soul Eater - Megan dressed as Death the Kid for Halloween!

Last but not least, we absolutely would not put it past Megan Thee Stallion to use a song from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure on her album, as this anime is, hands down, one that many fans know she has a profound love for.

Here's Megan dressed up as Jolyne Cujoh!

Megan has cosplayed as many characters before, but seldom does she go out to award ceremonies in the cosplay. One of the few anime titles to have this honor is none other than the beloved shounen series. (Check out Megan's Jojo's Bizarre Adventure cosplay at the Crunchyroll Awards here.)

Also, with this anime having a great deal of original soundtracks and iconic openings, Megan can be as creative as she wants when it comes to selecting a sample.

Although all these anime titles are very possible, there's a good chance that Megan may choose a completely different anime to surprise everyone. After all, we never really know what she has up her sleeve! We'll find out soon enough, though!
