Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 episode 22 release date, time, and recap

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 returned in April to fans' excitement. The first half of the second season covered Rudy's transition after enrolling into the Renoa University of Magic and his reunion with Sylphy.

In Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 episode 21, Rudy and the squad reunite with Roxy and they resume their mission to find Zenith. The new episode will cover Zenith's rescue mission as Rudy and Paul clash against the dragon in the labyrinth.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 episode 22 is titled “Parents” and it is scheduled to be released on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 12:00 in Japan. It will be released in the U.S. on June 16, 2024, as it will be simulcast on Crunchyroll.

Season 2 episode 21 recap

In the previous episode, Roxy was trapped in the labyrinth and he had been walking around in circles while she looked to escape the magic circles. Eventually, she is trapped in the cave while taking on waves of monsters. During her last moment before she is attacked, Rudy arrives in time and freezes all the monsters in sight to save Roxy. The two reunite and Roxy does not Recognize Rudy at first and she asks him who he is.

During their escape with the crew, Roxy realizes Rudy is her student and they go back to camp to regroup. The squad is relieved about Roxy's return and Rudy is delighted to be around his master again. Roxy has trouble adjusting to Rudy's appearance as an adult and she also develops some PTSD from her entrapment in the labyrinth. The group returns to the labyrinth to take on the next stratum in the cave and regroup again as they restock in supplies and map their next objective.

Roxy and Rudy catch up as they spend time at the market and then relax at a tavern in town. Roxy shows her gratitude to Rudy for motivating her to return to the University of Magic and become a Water King class mage. The group is able to pass the fifth stratum of the labyrinth and reach a room with three teleportation circles and it presents a conundrum for their next move. Rudy has some difficulty in deciphering the room and notices a similarity with the Ruins he visited with Elinalise when they teleported to the desert. He then asks Geese to look for stairs hidden in the room and discover another path through a hidden stairway on the ground at the end of the episode.
