Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 episode 8 release date and time
The second season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation continues with its upcoming episode releases this weekend. The Isekai anime is currently covering Rudy's time as a student at the Renoa University of Magic. The next episode will cover another one of Rudy's experiences as a college student.
The upcoming episode will highlight other characters in Rudy's class such as Cliff, the "genius." Cliff was seen before in a previous OVA of the series and will ask Rudy to introduce him to a girl in the next episode.

The official website describes the synopsis for the new episode of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation:
"The season of love has arrived…? Rudeus is asked by Cliff, another student from his class, to introduce him to a certain girl. On the other hand, the beast tribe is known for dueling courtships in the fall, so Linia and Plucena, princesses of the Doldian tribe, shut themselves in their dormitories to avoid dueling. But for some reason, someone challenges Rudeus to a duel…?"

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 episode 8 is titled “The Fiancé of Despair.” It is scheduled to release on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023, at 12:00 in Japan. It will be released in the U.S. on Aug. 28, 2023, as it will be simulcast on Crunchyroll.

What happened in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 episode 7?
The previous episode begins with Fitz, a.k.a. Sylphiette, Rudy's childhood friend, waking up and beginning her morning. Fitz begins a running workout in the morning and details her university life. The episode also highlights Fitz's feelings towards Rudy and the nature of their relationship.
The episode also highlights the dwarf slave Rudy has bought to assist in the figuring-making ventures. Rudy has resolved to make Julie his apprentice as he teaches her reading, writing, and incantation-less magic. During a figure-making class, Rudy questions Zanoba on the Roxy figure he made previously shown in season 1. The room goes silent and Zanoba starts to panic because he reveals his Roxy figure was destroyed as a result of a duel. Rudy responds in rage and anger as he sets out to find the culprits, who are Linia and Pursena, his beast tribe classmates.

Rudy duels both Linia and Pursena and takes them hostage as he decides the punishment for wrecking his statue. He reveals to the culprits how much he respects Roxy and is undecided on the punishment. The following day, Rudy confides to Fitz about the kidnapping, who is rattled by the decision to take the girls captive. Fitz agrees to help Rudy come up with a punishment for the girls as they visit them.
Fitz decides to cover their faces in paint that can turn "permanent" which later turns out to be false as the paint can easily be removed through mana. Rudy then shows Fitz around his room as Fitz again teases her face and the episode ends as Rudy continues to be in the dark about Fitz's real identity.
