If you're a fan of Natsume's Book of Friends, you will be pleased to know that your favorite anime is finally coming back to our screens!

After being off-air for over six years, the magical anime is back to give us a brand new season that is sure to make up for lost time. The upcoming seventh season is slated to arrive on Crunchyroll later this year in fall 2024. And with this installment comes those familiar faces and voices that you haven't heard from in a while!

What the new season will entail will be revealed as time passes. Even so, we know that at the heart of this story is a young boy with a supernatural ability to see and speak to spirits. This ability allows him to not only learn more about those who have come before him but also allows him to learn a little more about himself and what he truly cherishes.

Season 7 is bound to introduce us to even more interesting spirits with backstories that we can relate to and maybe even come to understand how their situation can help us with whatever we're going through. All around, it's a season you definitely don't want to miss!

With a return so highly anticipated, Natsume’s Book of Friends season 7 will be carefully crafted by creators that we all know and love!

Serving as the director for the upcoming installment is none other than Hideki Ito, the same creator who has worked on titles like Attack on Titan, Death Note, and Soul Eater. Alongside Ito is Makoto Yoshimori (Durarara!!, Princess Jellyfish, and Hotarubi no Mori e) as our music composer.
