One Piece episode 1079 release date and time
One Piece has entered the end of its Wano arc as the show ties up the loose ends and Momonosuke claims his throne as the ruler of Wano. The show took a break last week and will return to its regularly scheduled program this weekend as the Straw Hat crew will enjoy their victory with the land of Wano.
The upcoming episode may also depict Luffy's decision on whether Yamato will join the pirate crew. Zoro, Luffy, and the rest of the crew are recovering from their fight as the Wano arc wraps up and the rest of the world reacts to Kaido's defeat.

One Piece episode 1079 is titled “The Morning Comes! Luffy and the Others Rest!” and is scheduled to be released on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at 9:30 am Japanese Standard Time (JST). and will be simulcast on Crunchyroll in the United States. The episode will also be available in the U.S. on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

What Happened in One Piece episode 1078?
In the previous episode, One Piece portrayed the immediate aftermath of Luffy's battle with Kaido. Wano has been freed from their oppression, and the Akazaya Nine begin to reveal themselves to the civilians. Momnosuke exits his dragon form and walks through the smoke to unveil himself as the new ruler of Wano. He is now in his adult form and communicates to the people that they are free and the years of forced labor have come to an end
In Onigashima, the fight has nearly come to an end as Yamato rushes in to inform the warriors that Kaido has been defeated. Yamato introduces herself to the Straw Hat crew and announces her desire to join the team. Jimbei declares that he will wait for Luffy's approval to recognize Yamato as their new member.

The show then shifts towards Otama and her past. Otama explains that her powers will wear off after a month for the animals and she asks Horselina to look after her as she sees her as a maternal figure. In a flashback, Otama loses her parents and holds out hope for the return of the Kozuki clan to save the land. She makes and attempts to sell hats as she lives by herself until she comes across Hitestsu. She also remembers Luffy's promise to her as she witnesses Momonosuke announcing the return of the Kozuki.
