What Happened in One Piece  episode 1079?

In the previous episode, One Piece picks up after the defeat of Kaido and Momonosuke announcing his return with the Akazya Nine to the citizens of Wano. The land enters a state of celebrating as they enjoy their newfound freedom and honor those who fought. The seven elders grasp the gravity of Kaido's defeat and how it will shake up the world.

Two emperors were defeated and the news changed the balance of power while Zunesha remained to keep the Land of Wano closed to outsiders. Drake wakes up to Hawkins struggling to remain upright and spitting up blood and he ends up passing as he stays on Kaido's side.

In Wano, the people are celebrating their freedom as the straw hats recuperate from their long battle. Luffy and Zoro have been asleep for a while as Chopper monitors their health. Wano is transitioning back to a life of happiness and they erase Orochi's influence throughout the land and start anew. Kozuki Oden is rightfully honored and his legendary tale is taught in schools. The civilians are rejoicing as they get to enjoy clean water and they discuss the hero they believed saved the country.

Yamato and Momonuske are elated to hear that Luffy and Zoro have woken up and they head towards the powerful duo. Luffy wakes up yearning for meat and Zoro looks for booze to quench his thirst. Luffy and Zoro are oblivious to Momonosuke at first because they have not seen his adult form yet. Luffy reacts in surprise to Momo's adult form and is informed that the country will have a celebratory banquet. The crew relaxes in a hot spring as they wind down from their battle. the new pirate bounties have been announced and a new navy admiral with green hair is revealed and he is heading towards Wano at the end of the episode.
