One Piece episode 1096 release date and time (and an episode 1095 refresher)

One Piece started the Egghead Island arc in January as the series transitions to focus on Dr. Vegapunk. The Pirate Crew has ended up on Egghead Island which depicts a futuristic landscape. The crew will learn about Vegapunk's role in the grand scheme of this world as the World government begins to take action.

In the previous episode of One Piece, The Straw Hats battled S-Shark, the clone of Jimbei and they realize that egghead island has a storied history from Vegapunk-01. The next episode will shed light on Robin and how the mystery of the void is connected to her.

One Piece episode 1096 is titled "A Forbidden Piece of History! A Theory Concerning a Kingdom" and is scheduled to be released on Sunday, March 03, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. Japanese Standard Time (JST) and will be simulcast on Crunchyroll in the United States. The episode will also be available in the U.S. on Saturday, March 02, 2024.

One Piece  episode 1095 recap

In the previous episode, the Straw Hats stumble upon the S-Shark, a Jinbei clone of Pacifista, when they enter the Vegapunk Lab and are attacked. The crew are shocked at how similar the Pacifista and Jimbei look but then prepare to fight the clone.

The Pacifistas has many abilities such as traveling in water and fishman karate. Sanji is able to knock back S-shark from Nami and Robin uses her Gigante Fleur technique to "Spank" the clone. The Pacifista is able to block these attacks and use water to travel and strike back. S-Shark is able to disappear and reappear with his water technique as he sneaks up on Usopp. Franky then opts to use his laser beam attack which surprises the three Vegapunks spectat6ing the confrontation.

The show introduces Vegapunk Pythagoras and Edison as they are gathering data about the Pacifista and trying to come up with new ideas. the scientists continue their research as the Strawhats attempt to slow down S-shark and the episode then cuts to York, the Vegpaunk for greed. York is shown to consume a lot of food and drinks which helps the other scientists to work and get back to work. The show suggests that York consuming all the energy from eating is connected to Vegapunks and it supplies them with energy.

York goes back to sleep and The other Vegapunks go back to work. Vegapunk-01 Shaka appears to stop the Vegapunks from attacking the Straw Hats. The Straw Hats are then fitted with Boots that hold them in place. Shaka appears before them and reveals that Egghead Island isn't exactly a place of the future but it is a place from the past. There was a kingdom 900 years ago on the island and the end of the episode cuts to Luffy and Chopper as they stumble upon an old giant robot in a scrapyard.
