One Piece  episode 1100 recap

In the previous episode, the navy informs Admiral Akainu that Luffy is on Egghead Island as CP-0 are prepared to take on the Vegapunks.

Akainu is furious and demands the officers to stop Lucci from taking on the Strawhats as Kizaru is heading towards the island. Luffy spots Lucci on the island as he discovers Atlas's body on the ground.

During the invasion, Chopper and Jimbei prepare to run away with Bonney and Atlas, but Luffy is set on confronting Lucci. The rest of Cp-0 attempt to convince Lucci to clash with Luffy as he is now an emperor of the sea. The two decide to fight as they unleash a flurry of attacks on Haki.

Lucci then asks about his new form, which is pictured on his wanted poster. Luffy obliges and unveils Gear 5 as the show enters a transformation sequence. Luffy recalls the feeling he had in the form and enters the form with the drums of liberation in full effect.

Luffy's conqueror's Haki wreaks havoc around him, and his hair turns white. He laughs hysterically and Lucci is unable to stop the first attack in time and is sent flying.

From the cameras, Shaka is taken aback by Luffy's form, and Lucci then enters his new awakened form. His new form is faster, and he attempts to confuse Luffy with his speed as the two continue to trade blows. Vegapunk enters the lab with the rest of the Strawhat crew, and he discovers Luffy's new form and is left in awe.

The crew believes it is the power of the Gum-Gum fruit but Vegapunk reveals that the fruit does not exist and that he resembles Nika, the Sun God. Vegapunk exclaims that Nika was purposely erased from history, but its existence cannot be denied as people wish for it. He reveals that in his theory, the devil fruits are manifestations of the aspirations of people and their desire to evolve. The different powers of the fruits represent the diversity of humanity's future. The punishment for such power is the sea, which is part of mother nature, and that the devil fruits users live in different realities that were dreamt up by someone else.

Sentomaru arrives with the Seraphim and is confused by the situation between the Vegapunks and CP-0. The Pacifistas obey in a hierarchy, and Sentomaru has higher authority than CP-0. Vegapunk pressured Sentomaru to side with them against CP-0. Sentomaru orders the Pacifistas against CP-0 and Lucci is knocked away by Luffy. Sentomaru and Luffy reconnect, but Lucci recovers and strikes Sentomaru with a damaging blow. Then, he orders the Seraphim at the end of the episode.
