One Piece episode 1102 release date and time (and an episode 1101 refresher)

One Piece started the Egghead Island arc in January as the series transitions to focus on Dr. Vegapunk. The Pirate Crew has ended up on Egghead Island which depicts a futuristic landscape. The crew will learn about Vegapunk's role in the grand scheme of this world as the World government begins to take action.

In the previous episode of One Piece, Luffy and Lucci continue to fight and Luffy escapes through the vacuum rocket. In the next episode, Vegapunk attempts to hatch a plan to escape the island as CP-0 plots to capture the Labophase.

Episode 1102 release date and time

One Piece episode 1102 is titled Sinister Schemes! The Operation to Escape Egghead" and is scheduled to be released on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. Japanese Standard Time (JST) and will be simulcast on Crunchyroll in the United States. The episode will also be available in the U.S. on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Episode 1101 recap

In the previous episode, Lucci strikes down Sentomaru with a severe blow, but the axe wielder is able to remain conscious enough for the Seraphim to continue following his orders. Luffy heads to Sentomaru's aid and is sent flying by Lucci, but Luffy is able to respond before Lucci attempts to finish off Sentomaru.

Luffy spins himself to attack Lucci and also burrows himself into the ground from the recoil of the attack. The Seraphim unleashes their different attack to fend off the Navy, and the Straw Hat Crew realizes that the Seraphim has devil fruit powers from existing wielders after witnessing Jimbei's Seraphim use the powers of the swim-swim fruit.

Vegapunk reveals he has discovered the ability to replicate Zoan-type devil fruit powers. He has not been able to reproduce logia fruits but has found a way to duplicate Paramecia devil fruits. He analyzed the devil fruit user's bloodline elements and initiated a blood infusion to replicate the powers. He created his own green blood that was given to the Seraphim and they have become the strongest form of humanity.

The show returns to Lucci charging at Sentomaru, and Luffy intervenes in his giant form and shoots rocks through his mouth at Lucci. He lands a severe blow with his punch and sends Lucci flying. Hancock's Seraphim escorts Chopper, Bonney, and Jimbei to the vacuum rocket and they call out to Luffy to arrive in time. As the vacuum rocket prepares to leave, Luffy uses his powers to launch himself in the direction of the rocket. Sentomaru tells Luffy to help Vegapunk, and Luffy is able to land on the rocket with a second to go. The group escapes to Labophase, and Sentomaru faints in front of Lucci at the end of the episode.
