Crunchyroll reports that the upcoming anime title is going to draw a lot of inspiration from the original show. But of course, the anime isn't going to be limited to stories and characters that you've seen before. Rather, it will add to everything that you've watched in the past, giving you even more content to enjoy. If you've loved everything you've heard so far, then keep reading to learn more about what's on the way!
Rick and Morty: The Anime to release sometime in 2024
As per Crunchyroll, this anime re-imagining will come much sooner than later. Although we don't have an official release date, creators are eyeing for the title to release later this year on Adult Swim and Max. Hopefully, we will receive the new show as soon as late summer 2024 or fall 2024. (Fingers crossed!)
In regards to the talented creators and producers working on the title, the anime is joined by none other than Takashi Sano, who will serve as our director. Sano has worked on many beloved anime titles such as Vinland Saga, Orange, Psycho-Pass, and The Ancient Magus' Bride, so it's safe to say we're in good hands.
Alongside Sano are Jason DeMarco and Joseph Chou, who are our producers who not only brought us this anime but also used their craft to get Telecom Animation Film and Sola Entertainment to be our animation production studios in charge of bringing the anime to life.
