Sentai Filmworks October 2024 home media pre-orders now open

The slate of October 2024 home video releases from Sentai Filmworks is now available for pre-order. The most notable of these upcoming releases is a limited edition Ninja Scroll Blu-ray steelbook. The full list of October releases includes five other anime shows coming to Blu-ray.

Sentai Filmworks' Blu-ray release of Ninja Scroll coincides with the September 2024 theatrical re-release of the iconic movie through Anime Expo Cinema Nights. Sentai Filmworks and Iconic Events are collaborating to bring Ninja Scroll to American theaters on September 11, 12, and 15, 2024 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its original release. The full list of Anime Expo Cinema Nights theatrical releases for 2024-2025, including Ninja Scroll, Paprika, and Cowboy Bebop: The Movie is available here.

The Ninja Scroll steelbook Blu-ray being released by Sentai Filmworks is available in limited quantities, so interested fans should act quickly to get their pre-orders in. Sentai Filmworks provides the following synopsis for Ninja Scroll:

"Jubei Kibagami’s mercenary blade has cut a bloody swath across Japan, but after rescuing a female ninja from a monstrous demon, he finds himself ensnared in a web connecting his own past as a ninja with a demonic plot to overthrow the government. A plot orchestrated by Jubei’s former leader, who somehow survived decapitation by Jubei himself! With a deadly poison burning in his veins, Jubei must now join with an untrustworthy spy and the female ninja to face off with the immortal Gemma and his army of devils in the legendary odyssey of blood and revenge that is NINJA SCROLL!"

In addition to the Ninja Scroll steelbook, Sentai Filmworks's slate of October 2024 home media releases is as follows:

• Outbreak Company Complete Collection Blu-ray (available October 1)

• The Dreaming Boy is a Realist Complete Collection Blu-ray (available October 8)

• Panzer World Galient Complete Series. Blu-ray (available October 15)

• The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior Complete Collection Blu-ray (available October 2022)

• Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero Complete Collection Blu-ray (available October 29); fans may also be interested to know that the English dub of Level 1 Demon Lord and One Room Hero will begin airing on HIDIVE on August 20.
