Solo Leveling episode 6 recap

The previous episode resumes Song's expedition in the dungeon with the crew and him and Yoo are trapped with the boss monster. The rest of his party has betrayed them and left them behind to die so they can take the crystals for themselves.

Hwang reassures his crew that they can take care of the boss and also use Yoo's gear. They, then, loop up information about Yoo since his gear is rather expensive for a beginner hunter.

Back at the Lair, Yoo is panicking and Sung decides to test himself and face the boss. He charges towards the spider and then the show cuts to Chairman Go. The chairman enters a vehicle and is invited by his driver, Woo, to a training session. Yoo witnesses Sung's powers in real time, and he is left in shock as he begins to question Sung's real ranking as a hunter. While Yoo is stuck in thought, Sung examines his abilities through the player screen and he decides to aim for the weak points of the creature and his player screen informs him that he has a "Dash" skill. He uses Dash to approach the spider but is knocked away from an attack.

Before the spider deals a fatal attack, Sung's player screen gives him a full recovery option that gives him a boost, and he is able to jump on the spider and stab it multiple times. Yoo is left shocked from witnessing Sung taking down the boss and the rest of the crew arrive to find Sung and Yoo alive. The crew assumes Yoo defeated the monster because of his high-level gear and decides to eliminate Sung.

Hwang attempts to coerce Yoo to murder Sung, but Yoo sides with Sung. Sung's player screen sends him an urgent request as he is knocked back by one of the crew members. Sung then realizes that he has to kill to stay alive. The player log requests him to eliminate the six enemies to live.

Sung approaches Hwang's men one by one and stabs them. Sung murders Hwang, and he flees the dungeon with Yoo before the cave collapses.

Back in their world, Sung and Yoo explain to a hunter association worker what happened to their crew. The workers assume Yoo handled the situation, and Sung discovers he has acquired the murderous intent skill. The end of the episode cuts to a muscular man who may be the brother of Hwang.
