Spy x Family season 2 episode 2 release date and time

Spy X Family has premiered this October as one of the anticipated shows in the Fall of 2023 and it will continue this weekend with Mission 28. The previous episode followed the adventures of Bond and Damian and the upcoming episode will follow the Forger's family as the season continues. It will center around the family and will include Anya's favorite character, Bondman.

What Happened previously in Spy x Family season 2 episode 2?

The previous episode covered both Bond and Damian as they both dealt with their own internal struggles. The first part of the episode starts with Bond waking up hungry and his power to see images of the future, had him perplexed. Bond is imagining scenes of him passing away and he looks for Anya in her room. Anya is busy studying and Yor offers to cook food since Loid was going to arrive late.

Bond's power informs him that Yor's cooking is too dangerous and he immediately looks for ways to avoid this future event. Bond is afraid to decline Yor and heads out of the place in a panic to find Loid. He surmises that by finding Loid, he will be able to enjoy Loid's cooking instead of the food prepared by Yor.

Bond looks all over the town for Loid and he comes up empty-handed as the sun sets. During Bond's search, Loid was revealed to be on a spy mission which was the real reason he was going to come home late. Loid was completing a mission to obtain a sample of the truth serum at Born Industries. Bond finds Loid during this mission and insists on locating the sample by tracking a path to infiltrate. Loid can secretly enter with Bond and can obtain the sample. Loid expresses his appreciation to Bond by cooking a meal when they arrive back home.

The second half of the episode covered Damian as he enjoys a field trip to relieve his stress about obtaining Stella stars. Damian wakes up tired with his friend and is punished for being late for roll call. Damian is sent to help the dorm mother and his friends find out he is tired from studying to attain more Stella stars.

Damian intends to skip the movie his class is attending to study more as his friends become concerned for him, Damian's friends purposely get punished to help Damian with his tasks for the dorm mother. As Damian and his friends cheer up, they are sent on a field research trip with Mr. Green. The gang starts their trip going down the river on a boat and Damian falls off the boat when they hit a bump. The friends jump in to help and they "sacrifice" themselves in panic for Damian not knowing they are actually in shallow water.

The crew then dries off and starts a fire in the woods and decides to catch fish. They eat the fish around a campfire during the evening and Mr. Green notices Damian is hesitant to enjoy the scenery as he is still stressing about his studies. Mr. Green decides to lead the boys toward the lake so they can witness the view of the night sky reflecting off the water. The boys are mesmerized by the sight as they relax looking at the starry night.
