Every season of Demon Slayer has been nothing short of a masterpiece from start to finish. Still, every piece of art has its flaws, and sometimes, we wish we could go back in time to change those moments or, at the very least, prepare ourselves for the disappointment.

With the Hashira Training Arc underway, we want to make sure we aren't too shocked by the things we do and do not see this season. That's why we compiled a quick list of things we do and do not want to see this season.

What we want to see this season of Demon Slayer

Sometimes Demon Slayer is the farthest thing from a wholesome anime. Even still, sometimes, we wish for nothing more than for everyone to get along and for society to secure a couple of small victories to offset the amount of blood and violence we've seen thus far.

Along with Nezuko having a long, much-needed conversation with her brother, Tanjiro, here are some things we would like to see during this arc.

1. Nezuko finding a way to communicate with Tanjiro

Now that Nezuko has conquered the sun, she is more human than she has been ever since she became a demon. With her regaining her ability to communicate, it would be a pretty special thing to see her and her older brother, Tanjiro, talk about many things, including (but not limited to) how she's been feeling all this time about the journey, how it feels to be a demon, and, most importantly, how she feels about her family being massacred before her very eyes.

Conversations such as these would shed a lot of light on Nezuko's thought processes thus far and provide insight into who this character is at this stage of her life.

2. Humanity getting one step closer to finding a way to defeat Muzan

With so much bloodshed and lives lost, it's becoming more apparent than ever that Muzan has done irreparable damage to humanity and will do anything it takes to achieve his goal. Naturally, humanity's strongest soldiers are fighting against him in every way they know how, but in this particular season, it seems that we're finally inching closer to finding a probable solution against Muzan.

If we can find a solution very soon, we can avoid more turmoil so that we don't have to lose any more lives to Muzan's evil schemes.

3. The Hashira getting along with one another more

So far, we've seen the Hashira have tons of tension between one another. So much so that it's hard to tell whether they like each other or just tolerate one another's company for the sake of their overall mission to defeat the strongest demons. Although we understand why they would want to keep each other at arm's length, sometimes, we wonder how what could've been if all the Hashira members understood each other better.

With Giyuu Tomioka, the Water Hashira, seemingly going through a tough time, we think this is the perfect time for one (if not all) of the remaining Hashira members to come together and show him some support. After all, there's strength in numbers and it'll be a great sight to see everyone get along for the greater good.

What we don't want to see this season of Demon Slayer

For the most part, we want nothing but good vibes this season. However, we know that it is only through conflict that the story moves forward. So, if there must be conflict, we hope to see it not done in a way that leads to premature deaths, especially Kagaya Ubuyashiki.

1. Kagaya Ubuyashiki passing away before we learn more about his story

Granted, Kagaya Ubuyashiki has been gravely ill ever since we were first introduced to him in this series. But with his time officially ticking and him being on his death bed, it's starting to really sink in that the main factor behind why the Hashira and the rest of the demon slayer soldiers are pushing on to defeat their greatest foes is slowly but surely passing away.

With Kagaya's death close on the horizon, we really don't want to see him pass away without getting some more insight into his condition as well as what else he has up his sleeves to defeat Muzan. What's more, we could certainly use some more backstory about how Ubuyashiki became the person he is today.

A death for Ubuyashiki without getting some closure is just far too cruel.

2. Any of Hashira or demon-slayer soldiers dying in battle

With Rengoku Kyojuro (the Flame Hashira) dead and Uzui Tengen (the Sound Hashira) almost having a very close encounter with death, it's safe to say that we are pretty traumatized by the fact that it seems like it's only a matter of time before another Hashira passes away. Naturally, we hope that this isn't the case, but with death flags roaming around for every single Hashira, we can't help but get a little nervous about what may be on the way.

The current Hashira are some of the strongest soldiers we have with us today. Yet, since they're all human, they all have their limits. We just hope we don't have to witness those limits so soon.

Only time will tell what we have in store for us this season of Demon Slayer. Even so, if we could have at least one of our wants on this list come true, we think we would be just fine. (Fingers crossed!)
