Happy Fourth of July!

On this special holiday, it is common to celebrate by either grilling some yummy food in your backyard or by heading to a local park to watch the fireworks with that special someone. However, some go against the norm and decide to spend this holiday inside, streaming their favorite anime titles that make them feel more festive than ever.

If you happen to be the latter, we have some pretty great anime recommendations for you!

Although the anime on this list are vastly different from one another, the one thing they all have in common is that they feature an iconic firework scene.

Be it to mark the start of a relationship or the end of summer, these fireworks scenes are sure to remind you of the Fourth of July. What's more, they may even inspire you to ensure that your next Fourth of July weekend is spent outside with that special someone. Hopefully, these titles give you the push that you need!

First on our list is none other than A Silent Voice!

A Silent Voice

Where to stream: YouTube Movies

By and large, A Silent Voice is a tear-jerker, as it follows the life of Ishida, a young boy who is determined to redeem himself from his rocky past. Even so, the wholesome moment shared by Ishida and his new friend, Nishimiya, goes down in anime history as the calm before the storm since, shortly after viewing the fireworks, Nishimiya makes a very rash decision.

A Silent Voice's firework scene reminds us to cherish the time we have with our loved ones because we truly never know what the future holds.

Kaguya-sama: Love Is War

Where to stream: Crunchyroll

Romance always fills the air around the summer, which makes it the best time to confess to that special person who is always on your mind. But perhaps this holiday, instead, makes you realize that the person you've been looking for has been by your side all along, and rather than confess, this holiday simply marks the start of something new.

This is the backstory behind the beloved Kaguya-Sama: Love is War firework scene, as seeing Kaguya realize her true feelings for Miyuki was the most heart-fluttering moment in the anime's entire run.

My Dress-Up Darling

Where to stream: Crunchyroll

If you're a loner similar to that of My Dress-Up Darling's Wakana Gojo, the Fourth of July weekend isn't spent with loved ones or crushes. Rather, it's spent alone. And while there is beauty in solitude, it's natural for holidays such as this one to be a reminder of the loneliness that echoes inside.

Things won't always be this way, however, as we're always only one day away from finding someone that makes the holidays a little less lonely, helping us to look forward to days off because they mark a brief period where we can spend more quality time with those we cherish. This is what, thankfully, happened with Gojo and can be experienced by you someday, too.

Summer Time Render

Where to stream: Hulu

On a journey to discover how his childhood friend passed away, Shinpei travels back home to uncover the mysteries of his hometown. He is shocked to find that the supernatural is the only explanation for what has occurred. Nevertheless, he sets out, as many times as it takes, to try to reverse the horror that has taken place.

After multiple failures and so many heartbreaking revelations, the firework scene in Summer Time Render is such a breath of fresh air, marking the moment you can finally exhale and know that everything will be okay.

Tonikawa: Over The Moon For You

Where to stream: Crunchyroll

Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You's firework scene was everything we wanted it to be and so much more. Never have we been more sure of fate than by watching Nasa Yuzaki and Tsukasa fall more and more in love with each other despite not having the typical start to a relationship. The firework scene just only cements that soulmates do exist and when we eventually find who we are meant to find, the fun moments will never cease.

Believe us when we say that this moment is very swoon-worthy. So much so that it would be beside us to not let you witness it yourself.

Now that you know of titles that are perfect to stream over this special weekend, all there's left to do is head over to any of the aforementioned streaming services to catch every second! See you there!
