The previous chapter starts with Dollores getting shocked after seeing the demon didn't die even after his head was pieced. The elite corpse is more powerful than your normal demon.

Dantellian tells Vikir and Dollores how the real Quilty has died because he used the masked personality. He quickly changed to another face and Vikir even killed that without a delay.

Dantellian was trying to use the sympathy of poor people who were getting used as mask by him, however, Vikir didn't show any emotion.

Seeing that nothing was working, he planted a face inside Vikir's arm. According to him, the face personality and thoughts will mess with Vikir and will destroy him from the inside.

But then in a surprising move, Vikir cut his own arm and quickly regenerated it. The elite corpse noticed his power and the demon sword Beelzebub. So then, he started to attack the weak point which was Dollores.
