The upcoming season of The Apothecary Diaries will carry on from where the last season left off with Maomao serving as the go-to clinic when things go wrong in the royal establishment. She loves all things poison and typically gravitates towards things that may disgust others. And while horrible things may arise throughout the royal compound (i.e. death, poisoning, and kidnappings), Maomao stays true to herself and has all the confidence that she can overcome it all.

A new season brings new problems as well as new characters for Maomao to deal with. But so long as she has her intellect and her peers that will ensure she achieves her goals, we know there's very little standing in her way.

Who will we meet in the new season? What crime will Maomao have to solve this time? All this and more will be revealed soon enough!
