When first hearing about DAN DA DAN’s plot, anime fans had some reservations.
On the surface, the 2024 anime seemed like your stereotypical supernatural anime that could be solved in an e-mail (or, at the very least, by the end of the season). But now that the world has feasted their eyes on this masterpiece, everything has changed and fans couldn’t be any more ready to experience this anime one more time in their lifetimes.
The story of Momo and Okarun turning into people with supernatural/cursed individuals is compelling in its own right. However, the complex feelings between the two that only develop further in each episode are really what steals the show. Sure, people can fall in love at first sight. But what sets Momo and Okarun apart is that it seems that these two were meant to find each other all along. Many can accidentally slip and fall into one another arms, but it feels that these two were born soulmates.
There are two many things to name about what we like about DAN DA DAN, but the bottom line is---we need a season two renewal ASAP. Will we receive one though?
A DAN DA DAN season 2 seems likely
It seems like every other day, DAN DA DAN trends on social media. Whether it’s because of a hilarious clip featuring Okarun’s transformation or because of a plot twist that no one saw coming in the anime’s riveting story, fans always have something to say about how transfixed they are on DAN DA DAN’s best moments. Because of this, we think that the fans’ love for the anime will guarantee that season two renewal much sooner rather than later.
In addition to fans’ love, the story of DAN DA DAN only gets better with each arc that follows. For example, many fans are more than ready to sink their teeth into the Kaiju Arc as well as the Danmanra Arc. We hope they’ll be able to see this adapted soon!
No matter how you slice it, things are looking up for DAN DA DAN. So much so that we may receive a sophomore season before the first season even ends. Only time will tell!
