What to know about the fourth and final season of Dr. Stone

Dr. Stone has been one of those anime series that has seen us through thick and thin. Whether we needed a good laugh or to cheer up by watching some wicked action, this anime series was always there for us. All the more reason why it will hurt so bad when the title airs its fourth and final season in January 2025.

Before we bid our somber farewells to Dr. Stone, thankfully, we have three cours of this anime title to look forward to, meaning we have more than enough content to keep us warm through the winter. And based on what we’ve received in the past, we can tell that each episode will be even more stellar than the previous one.

Dr. Stone Science Future's final season contains three installments

The first installment of Dr. Stone Science Future will continue from where the previous installment left off where our protagonist, Senku Ishigami, and the rest of his pals have finally sailed to new horizons. However, everything isn’t as dandy as they expected it to be, as they encounter strangers who are absolutely up to no good.

How will Senku and the rest navigate this new struggle? And what exactly do these strangers want from this group? All this and more we’ll find out soon enough! Until then, see all this and more in the official trailer for part 1 below.

As you can see, we not only have our favorite characters that we’ve known and loved since Day 1 but also have a few new faces, Dr. Xeno (voiced by Kenji Nojima) and Stanley Snyder (voiced by Koji Yusa), two characters who are sure to add even more intriguing elements to this anime. How they will do so is the burning question we’re sure everyone has.
