Crunchyroll is reporting on the Assassination Classroom production team's plans for the upcoming year of 2025, which marks the 10th anniversary of the franchise. The original Japanese-language social media post shared on X (formerly Twitter) includes a special new visual to commemorate the 10th anniversary:

As further explained by Crunchyroll, the 10th anniversary plans for the franchise include a scheduled rebroadcast of the Assassination Classroom anime series from anime studio Lerche, to be aired weekly on Fuji TV beginning in April of 2025. Two more projects have also been announced, with the specific details to be announced at a later date.
Earlier this week, the Code Geass franchise also announced similar anniversary plans as Code Geass gears up for its own upcoming milestone anniversary. Specifically, 2026 will be the Code Geass franchise's 20th anniversary.
You don't have to wait until April 2025 to catch up on Assassination Classroom
Assassination Classroom follows the students of Class 3E at Kunugigaoka Junior High School, whose class has been taken over by Kuro-sensei, a superhuman octopus-like creature said to have destroyed the Moon. Kuro-sensei has demanded to be made Class 3E's homeroom teacher and is tasking them with assassinating him before the end of the year, or else he will destroy the Earth.
Despite the similar names, Assassination Classroom has no connection to the series Classroom of the Elite. However, fans of Assassination Classroom who are curious about Classroom of the Elite can check out the series on Crunchyroll. The first episode has also been posted to Crunchyroll's YouTube channel:
The original Assassination Classroom manga series ran from 2012-2016 in Weekly Shōnen Jump — the same magazine that has published series like Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece and more recently, Kagurabachi. A two-season anime series based on the original manga aired starting in 2015.
The English version of the original manga is licensed by Viz Media and can be read digitally on either Viz Media's Shōnen Jump app or original publisher Shueisha's Manga Plus app. The anime series is currently airing on Crunchyoll, with available voice tracks in Japanese, English, Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese and subtitles in English, Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.
