The battle against the six-blade martial sect and the spies from the Blue Heaven society has finally ended. There is no doubt that Cheon literally carried the war all alone and won the battle with his overpowering abilities.

Now, the Namgoong patriarch has been caught and there is some tension between the demon cult and murim alliance.

The murim alliance wants Cheon to give up on the hostages and there is a very good reason for that. They don't want them to know about the secret technique that the blue heaven society currently has. They want to learn this technique and in order to do that, they need the hostages.

That is where the Jegal patriarch stepped him and dug the Murim alliance's own grave. He said that it might be better to kill the Namgoong patriarch, so no one can learn the technique.
