All the details to know about the fourth My Hero Academia movie, You're Next

My Hero Academia season 7 isn't the only brand-new release the anime is coming out with soon!

The shounen anime series is set to release yet another action-packed film and we're here to give you all the details we know so far about it so that you don't miss out on what's to come! What is My Hero Academia's new movie about?

You're Next, the fourth film of the franchise, is about a new villain who rises up to give the world its next scare. But when it's revealed that the new villain, Dark Might, bears a strong resemblance to All Might, society starts to wonder whether they're seeing double or if All Might may have actually betrayed society for his own ulterior motives.

The film is brought to you by BONES, the same production company that has been working on My Hero Academia since the very first season. Additionally, BONES called upon none other than Yuki Hayashi to work on the music for the film. Hayashi has worked on many popular titles, including (but not limited to) Kiznaiver, Death Parade, Shaman King, and, of course, My Hero Academia!

You're next release date

If you like what you see so far, you'll be pleased to know that the fourth film of this anime series is coming later this summer! That's right! Save the date for Friday, Aug. 2, because that's when You're Next will be released in theaters.

As of right now, we don't know when You're Next will arrive in other theaters across the world. However, once the film debuts in Japan, we know it won't be too long before all fans can watch it!
