3 anime coming to Netflix in October 2024

Goodbye, September! Hello, October!

The Netflix anime given to us in September 2024 was nothing short of everything we could've asked for in the last month of summer. We cried until we were sick with the release of the film Grave of the Fireflies, while we were hanging on to the edge of our seats with all the action that was in store with Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM. And, of course, we were left feeling very inspired as we watched Blue Giant, the anime that shows that anything is possible so long as you put your mind to it.

Although it hurts saying goodbye to September 2024's Netflix anime, the anime coming in October 2024 is set to be the perfect replacement for the anime that we're saying goodbye to. We guarantee that you will be left feeling well-entertained for the entire month!

Blue Box

Release Date: October 3

Blue Box follows the lives of Taiki Inomata and Chinatsu Kano, two athletes who strive to win their respective championships in their respective sports. Taiki, our badminton player, has a huge crush on Chinatsu, our basketball player. Initially, things progressed very slowly. However, when Chinatsu moves in with Taiki for a while, their relationship deepens to become something bigger than either of them could have ever expected.

"The series focuses on Taiki Inomata, a student at Eimei Junior and Senior High who is a member of the boys' badminton team. Every morning, he trains alongside his upperclasswoman and fellow crush Chinatsu Kano, who is on the girls' basketball team. However, Chinatsu moves in with Taiki's family when her parents leave Japan to work abroad. With Chinatsu now living with him, Taiki aims to slowly develop his relationship with her as they both strive to make it to the national championship with their respective teams."

Ranma 1/2

Release Date: October 5

Ranma 1/2 is a joyous show about a newlywed couple who go through strange oddities in their everyday life. One of the oddest things that has occurred within their marriage is that Ranma Saotome has acquired a weird ability to transform into a woman when he has cold water on him but back into a male when he gets drenched in hot water. This hilarious occurrence ensures that not a single day is humdrum!

Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance

Release Date: October 17

Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance is a tale of what happens when Earth engages in war with entities far beyond their understanding. The only way humanity can live is if they fight back. However, when they're fighting against a war machine that can take out anything and everything in its path, they have to think twice about how they can defeat their opponent while prioritizing staying alive.
