Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc gave us an ending that was as mind-blowing as it was epic.

Witnessing Muzan enter Kagaya Ubuyashiki's home fully prepared to get his way only for Ubuyashiki to flip the script was an amazing sight to see. What's more, the moment when the Hashira finally united to bring forth a powerful blow to Muzan was so hyped, that it was nearly impossible to not look at the entire ordeal rooting for the Demon Slayer Corps to put a stop to Muzan's plans once and for all. And who could forget the moment when Muzan also flipped the script on the Hashira?

Just pure awesomeness!

So many great things went down in the finale of the Hashira Traning Arc. So much so that we wouldn't put it past some fans to be a bit confused about what it all meant. Thankfully, we're here to give you all the details!

Here are three big takeaways from Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc's finale!

The most important facts that will help you going into the upcoming Demon Slayer film trilogy is that the final battle will be hours long and absolutely has to see to the defeat of Muzan or else everything that the Demon Slayer Corps has done thus far will be in vain. However, these facts pale in comparison to the most important takeaway of them all.

Demon Slayer's finale implies much death in the future

One major moment of the finale was that all of the soldiers in the Demon Slayer Corps including Tanjiro and his Hashira/non-Hashira allies were immediately transported to a foreign place that seems to be endless — the Infinity Castle.

The Infinity Castle is crawling with many demons who are ravenous for human blood. In normal circumstances, these demons could easily be defeated. However, as we've seen throughout this entire arc, most of the Demon Slayer soldiers are in bad shape and will easily serve as fodder for the demons who lurk in the shadows.

In addition to the average soldiers of the Corps, we, sadly, think some Hashira members may also die, especially since they're paired up against the remaining top Upper Rank demons who may very well take some time to defeat. A demon like Akaza is included in those Upper-Rank demons, and if Akaza could take down someone like Rengoku, we wouldn't put it past him to do it again.

Who will live? Who will die? These questions will be seen soon enough. For now, however, we can say without a doubt that people will die.

The final battle involving Muzan will be hours long

Because Muzan isn't like any other demon, his head being chopped off by Gyomei, the Stone Hashira, had little effect on him. This means that humanity's best shot at taking out Muzan for good is surviving until dawn and forcing him into the sun. Such an action is easier said than done, as the night is very young and the Demon Slayer Corps have many hours to burn before they can make their final move.

Not only will these hours be long in actuality, but they will also feel very long to our Hashira, as they are not fighting against easy foes. Every second will be felt and every minute wasted is a minute too long.

Now more than ever, time is of the essence.

The defeat of Muzan will be the extinction of ALL demons

As Kagaya Ubuyashiki expressed, even if Muzan was able to wipe out all of the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira, and Tanjiro, the indomitable human spirit will still live on and will haunt Muzan for eons until he's defeated.

On the contrary, however, if Muzan is destroyed, every single demon that walks the earth will be eradicated. The demon race will not revive nor will it repair itself, which is why it's not enough to kill Muzan's army but to cut the snake's head for good. He won't be an easy defeat, as he is the most menacing demon to have ever lived over a thousand years. But if humanity is able to pull it off, it will be the greatest achievement ever.

Although the future is unclear, it can still be changed depending on the determination and skill of our strongest soldiers. Only time will tell, however, what lies in wait for us.
