How to watch Mashle: Magic and Muscles season 2 episode 12 (and what happened in episode 11)

Mashle: Magic and Muscles season 2 premiered in January. Its twelfth episode of the season is airing this weekend. This upcoming episode will serve as the season finale after Mash saved the academy from destruction.

In the previous episode, Innocent Zero attempts to take Mash as an ingredient for his perfect body. Mash fights back and Inncoent Zero begins to feel the consequences for stealing power. He escapes and releases a giant demon towards Easton and Mash eventually save them. In this next episode, the students will enjoy time off after the events from the divine visionary exam as the arc comes to a close.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles season 2 episode 12 is titled "Mash Burnedead and His Good Friends" and is scheduled to be released on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 11:30 pm Japanese Standard Time (JST) and will be simulcast on Crunchyroll in the United States. The episode will also be available in the U.S. on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles season 2 episode 11 recap

In the previous episode, Mash intervenes the fight between Innocent Zero and Wahlberg. Ryoh questions Kaldo about the spatial magic in the area and Kaldo infers that it may be time magic.

Ryoh heads out to find Wahlberg as the rest of the wizards stay behind to protect the students. The show then shifts to Mash in the air with Innocent Zero and Wahlberg. Mash is revealed to be kicking his feet up in the air. Mash reassures Wahlberg that he intends to help him and Zero commands Mash to return to him. Mash refuses his offer and Zero engulfs Wahlberg and Mash in his dark magic. Innocent Zero uses this spell to steal Wahlberg's magic, but Mash breaks out of the aura sphere.

Zero is able to steal spatial magic and erase some of the land in the area. Mash then rushes towards Innocent Zero and unleashes multiple attacks that leave him unfazed.

As Zero begins his next move, he is overcome with the immense amount of magic he has absorbed, and Wahlberg realizes that Zero is physically incapable of handling all that power. Zero intends to use Mash as a way to gain his perfect body. Zero informs Mash that he is an outcast in their magic society and should become sum of his ingredients.

Zero then opens a portal to escape to acclimate to his new body and battle another time. He sends his magic towards the coliseum where the wizards are clashing with the remnants of his army. This results in the demons combining into one big monster set to terrorize the magic students. Zero leaves, and Mash heads towards the school to stop the big demon from destroying the academy.

Zero's time spell wears off, and the students are brought to the present in the midst of the battle. They are struck with the fear as the demon heads toward them. The demon punches at the coliseum walls and the students learn that there is a barrier in place to keep them from fleeing.

Kaldo and Dot head out to find the barrier spell user, but the Monster arrives at the walls. Before the demon lands a punch, Mash steps in and grabs the chains of the beast. Finn and the rest of the students discover Mash engaging in a tug-of-war with the Giant demon, and they begin to encourage him after treating him like an outcast. Mash is able to swing the demon away and defeat it. At the end of the episode, Wahlberg wakes up in a room and Ryoh informs him that Mash defeated the demon.
