How to watch Mashle: Magic and Muscles season 2 episode 3

Mashle: Magic and Muscles season 2 premiered this month as it continued Mash Burnedead's adventures at the Easton Magic Academy. The execution arc has begun as the previous episode saw Mash Burnedead's trial delayed as he prepares for the divine visionary exam. Mash has been given the task of becoming stronger to eventually combat innocent zero. The next episode will feature Rayne Ames and his encounter with Macaron of the orca dorm.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles season 2 episode 3 is titled "Rayne Ames and God's Gift" and was released on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, at 11:30 pm Japanese Standard Time (JST) and simulcast on Crunchyroll in the United States.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles season 2 episode 2 recap

In the previous episode, Mash was summoned by the Divine visionaries as they decided on the punishment for Mash being black magic. Wahlberg and Rayne appear to help Mash from the other divine visionaries and they try to stop the execution. He suggests that they wait on the decision as Innocent Zero has targeted Mash and that could lead to clues.

Ryoh informs Mash that Wahlberg was previously a divine visionary and is well respected by the magic bureau. Rayne also backs Wahlberg and supports Mash and this results in the divine visionaries pondering their decisions. Orter is set on following the rules and punishing Mash and the Vice director intervenes and repays Mash's heroic efforts in removing the magic parasite and delays the sentencing. Orter then decides that Mash enter the divine visionary test in order to measure his strength to go after innocent Zero. Mash accepts the challenge and promises to defeat Innocent Zero.

Mash returns to his dorm and informs his friend group about the ruling and then heads toward the town to wind down. The group explores the town and has a fun time and the group heads toward the wand shop as Lance is looking for a new wand. Lance is preparing for the divine visionary exam and the boys meet the owner of the wand shop. Lance and Finn take part in the wand-gauging process as they use their magic to find a wand that tunes to their abilities. Mash then attempts to find a wand and he notices one on the ground that is stuck. The owner informs Mash that the wand cannot be lifted as it takes extraordinary strength and that there may be Elf water underneath that would help make refined wands.

Mash immediately lifts the wand off the ground and the water comes gushing out and the owner gifts Mash the wand. Back at the dorm, Mash counts the gold coins and the divine visionary is coming soon. Mash then invites his friend back to his house with his father. The show then cuts to Orter and he requests Macaron, an orca dorm student, to take down Mash before the exam begins. At Mash's house, his father meets the friend group and is delighted about Mash making friends and life at the magic academy. Macaron heads towards Mash's home but is stopped by Rayne at the end of the episode.
