Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation season 2 returned in April to fans' excitement. The first half of the second season covered Rudy's transition after enrolling into the Renoa University of Magic and his reunion with Sylphy.

In episode 19, Rudy decides to travel to Begariitt with Elinalise and they both teleport to the continent. The new episode will cover Elinalise and Rudy's reunion with Paul as they embark on their rescue mission.

Season 2 episode 19 recap

In the previous episode, Rudy has come the decision and prepares for his journey to the Begaritt continent. He informs Elinalise first as she plans to head there to help Paul and the two decide to journey together.

Rudy then informs Nanahoshi about his long journey ahead and regrets that he will not be able to help with her research for a while. Nanahoshi responds with shock as two years is too long, and she directs Rudy to teleportation circles.

She informs him that he can use the circles to shorten his journey and that he can arrive to Rappan in a month after teleporting to the desert. Rudy is relieved as he thought he would be away for two years and heads home to inform Sylphy and his sisters.

Sylphy is apprehensive at teleportation at first, but Rudy reassures her that he will try to make it in time for their child's birth. His family accepts his decision, and Rudy and Elinalise bid their farewell before setting off for Begaritt.

They two follow the map and encounter a seal that is activated by an incantation. They enter the ruins and teleport to a desert in the Begaritt continent. Rudy notices a time lag in teleportation, and the duo encounter a succubus during the night.

Elinalise is able to defeat the creature and she still has to deal with her cruse during the trip. As they travel through the desert they encounter two griffins and clash with the creatures.

After defeating the monsters, Rudy and Elinalise have a conversation about Paul and their adventures together. Elinalise hints that she and Paul had an affair before he ended up with Zenith. At the end of the episode, the two arrive at Rappan and advance towards Paul's location.
