My Hero Academia: You're Next trailer reveals theme song

The anime film's soundtrack includes a theme performed by Vaundy.

Shared by Crunchyroll, the upcoming fourth movie in the My Hero Academia franchise has dropped its latest trailer. My Hero Academia: You're Next is currently scheduled to release theatrically in Japan on Aug. 2, 2024. Produced by anime studio Bones and distributed by Toho Animation, You're Next also features My Hero Academia creator Kōhei Horikoshi in a supervisory role and provides original character designs for the movie.

Similar to the recent trailer for Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, the latest trailer for You're Next provides fans with their first chance to listen to the theme song. For You're Next, Japanese pop musician Vaundy will be contributing the song "Homunculus" to the soundtrack. Vaundy has previously provided songs for other anime series including Chainsaw Man and Rankings of Kings.

An international release date has not yet been announced. In the meantime, fans have options to catch up on both the main series and the tie-in movies. The My Hero Academia anime series is airing its seventh season, which is available to stream on Crunchyroll.

Previous seasons of My Hero Academia are also available on Netflix and Hulu. In some international regions, the previous My Hero Academia movies — Two Heroes, Heroes Rising and World Heroes' Mission — are available on Netflix. Due to licensing issues, the My Hero Academia series and movies may not be available on all streaming platforms in all regions.
