One Piece chapter 1125 release date: Who's waiting for Luffy in Elbaf?

With the latest chapter, the manga is finally moving towards the Elbaf arc in One Piece chapter 1125. The most shocking part of the recent chapter was definitely about Akainu, who actually apologized to Kizaru.

But that was not all the surprise; towards the end, Oda gave his classic silhouette tease of a mysterious character who is waiting for the Straw Hat's crew.

Recap of chapter 1124

The previous chapter starts with Vivi and Morgan bickering with each other. Morgan was very excited after hearing the news about the world going to sink.

He also wanted to spread the news about the battle between Black Beard and Law, Shanks and Kid, and Luffy, who killed Vegapunk. Vivi was upset with him because he had lied about the last part. 

Kizaru and Akainu

Then the scenario shifted towards the Egghead where Kizaru wanted to know what exactly happened there. He even blamed Kizaru for letting the Straw Hats escape.

Kizaru then asked whether he had killed his best friend or not. Fans witnessed all the past events and memories that Kizaru and Vegapunk shared.

Kizaru who was already in tears said angrily that if he has time, then come here and see whether he did his job or not. They were talking through the den den mushi.

The most surprising part was Akainu apologized to him. He says, "Sorry about that, brother." But then Kizaru replies, "Too late for that now."

Come, Straw Hats!

Lilith finally wakes up and realizes that she is the last remaining Vegapunk. Luffy was kind of depressed that he wasn't able to save the old man. (Referring to Vegapunk)

But now, their crew is heading towards Elbaf. At the shore, someone is waiting for them. Who is this person? This will be soon revealed in the upcoming arc.
