One Piece episode 1090 release date and time

One Piece has begun its Egghead arc as the series moves on to its next chapter after Luffy becomes one of the emperors of the sea. The Straw Hats are searching for the next Poneglyph and the World government has set their sights on the revolutionary army and the pirates.

The previous episode confirmed that Sabo is still alive and the Straw Hats have stumbled upon Bonny, a pirate from the worst generation, and the Gorosei elect to erase Lulusia in order to keep their secrets. The next episode will feature the Straw Hats landing on an Island as their new adventure awaits them.

One Piece episode 1090 is titled "A New Island! Future Island Egghead" and is scheduled to be released on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024, at 9:30 am Japanese Standard Time (JST) and will be simulcast on Crunchyroll in the United States. The episode will also be available in the U.S. on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024.

One Piece  episode 1089 recap

In the previous episode, Luffy continues his talk with his crew about his true dream and is met with different reactions. They are shocked and some are overcome with laughter. The crew then talk about their next step in their journey and Robin reveals that there are no clues on the last Poneglyph and it will be difficult to find clues.

The Navy is tracing Sabo's call to the revolutionaries and the Grorosei are listening in. They find out Sabo is in the kingdom of Lulusia, which is one of the territories in the Reverie. The king and the princess have been captured by the people and the revolutionaries are relieved to find out Sabo is alive. He reveals that the article is fake and he did not kill King Cobra. He then informs his comrades that he witnessed something unbelievable and that someone was sitting on the empty throne.

As Sabo reveals his findings about Imu, the sky above Lulusia begins to turn into a dark green color. The Gorosei then ordered the Navy to shut off transmission of the snail and that they heard nothing. They then order that the Kingdom of Lulusia never existed as the country is destroyed by beams and Sabo is disconnected from the call.

The shifts to Luffy and his crew as they navigate the intense weather and waves on the sea. The crew encounters a giant warm eddy and Luffy spots someone in it. Zoro cuts the eddy and then Chopper is blown off the ship due to the weather and wind speeds. Luffy grabs Chopper but is then swept off his feet by the wind as well.

Luffy then spots a child escape the warm eddy and it is revealed to by Bonney, one of the pirates from the worst generation that the audience had seen earlier in the series. Bonney then warns the crew that there is something below the ship as a bug monster heads towards the ship to swallow it and the episode ends with the crew preparing for the attack.
