One Piece  episode 1087 recap

In the previous episode, One Piece covers the events after Kaido's defeat. The first part of the episode highlights Marco as it is revealed that Marco was dropped off by the Red Hair pirates at Sphinx. Marco thanks Shanks for the ride and turns down his invitation to the crew. The show then cuts to the time after Ryogoku attacked the village and Luffy thanks Marco for saving him at Marineford. Marco informs Luffy that a ship is nearby and that Ace would be proud of Luffy. During this flashback, Yamato also plans to stay in Wano to protect the lands from other enemies.

The show then shifts to Amazon Lily under invasion as the title of warlord was stripped. Boa Hancock is the target of the navy as the Marines head towards the island. Hancock lost her privileges as a warlord, and her land is under attack. The female warriors fight back, but Koby then releases the new Pacifistas to defend the Navy. The Seraphim is presented as an upgraded version of Pacifistas, and they easily attack Hancock's warriors and they head toward Boa. The show then reveals that Blackbeard is also after Boa Hancock because of her powers, and he steps foot on the island. He fights off the Marines and heads to the former warlord.

The Seraphim step in and showcase advanced powers. Blackbeard uses a Black Hole in response, which drives away the Seraphim as they avoid falling into the void. Koby tries to reason with Hancock and offers to stop the fighting as long as Boa turns herself over to the Navy. Hancock refuses to surrender and plans to fight the invaders as she turns most of the attackers to stone. Koby is targeted by Hancock, and then Blackbeard steps in planning to steal Hancock's powers. He is able to nullify her powers with his devil fruit, but she reveals that her power is useless without her beauty and that the next user would be unable to undo the petrification of Blackbeard's crew.
