Tower of God season 2 episode 2 release date and time

Tower of God season 2 premiered last weekend, continuing the story four years after the previous season aired. The second season will adapt the Return of the Prince Arc and the Workshop Battle Arc.

In the previous episode, Bam returns after six years to continue his climb and encounters Ja Wangman. He starts to fight the other contestants until the timer runs out and showcases his new abilities. The next episode will cover the next step in the exam with Ja Wangman motivated to reach the top.

Tower of God season 2 episode 1 recap

In the first episode of the season, Bam gets pushed out of the bubble by Rachel and the rest of the characters believe Bam to be dead.

They decide to continue their tower climb as Bam is found by Hwaryun, who takes note of Bam's abilities and offers to train him in order for him to find the answers he is seeking. He decides to climb the tower and find the answers for himself and there is a six year time skip.

The shows starts off with a focus on Ja Wangman, a new character, as he wanders around the 20th floor. It is revealed that participants of the climb take a pit stop on the 20th floor since they have to attain a certain rank and a hefty fee to take the next exam. Contestants easily go bankrupt and stay stuck on the floor, and Ja Wangman is targeted by a loan shark. He is desperate to go to the next floor and takes another shot at the test.

During this attempt, he enters the floor to find many participants defeated and a figure resembling Bam standing nearby. Ja Wangman decides to attempt to ally with the mysterious figure but receives no response as other participants enter with no objective to fight.

The other participants wait for the timer to end, but Bam decides he will take out the other participants without much of a reason. Bam has taken on a new name, Jue Viole Grace, and the other contestants find out that he may be connected to FUG, a crime syndicate that opposes Jahad.

Bam showcases his powers as a Wave controller by fending off the others attacks with ease. The others realize they don't stand a chance unless they work together.

Wangman is able to freeze Bam with his words and his bomb deals a heavy blow. Bam uses another technique where he heals his injuries, and the timer runs out before Ja Wangman is attacked by Bam. The group passes and Bam enters the elevator as Bam is reminded of Khun after facing Ja Wangman.
