Tower of God season 2 premiered this month, continuing the story with a six-year time skip from the previous season. The second season will adapt the Return of the Prince Arc and the Workshop Battle Arc.

In the previous episode, the contestants are tasked with measuring their Shinsu strength. Bam ranks first in the test and insists on advancing alone until Proctor Love proposes another test for Bam. The next episode will cover the clash between Proctor Love and Jue Viole as Love intends to stop the FUG player from advancing.

Tower of God season 2 episode 2 recap

In the previous episode, Bam, Ja Wangman, and the rest of the group pass the exam and move on to the next and wait for other participants to enter. They wait and find the other contestants entering including Ja's loan shark who is accompanied by the Leon family and their mercenaries.

The next test is administered by proctor Love, and he instructs that the test will measure the strength of the Shinsu of the examinees. The top eight would pass the exam and the contestants begin to measure their Shinsu starting with Ja Wangman.

Ja is immediately out of the top 8 and ends up ranked 10th midway through the test. The loan shark group has some strong test takers as the Leon Family heir somehow ranks at number one. Bam then takes the test and blows it out of the water by scoring well over a 100,000. He places first in the rankings, and Proctor Love informs him he can now choose the other seven to take with him to the next stage.

This comes as a surprise to the other contestants as they assumed the first eight would advance. Ja Wangman begs Bam to choose him, but Bam ultimately decides to go alone. Proctor insisted that he should choose, but Bam then announces his intentions as a member of Fug.

Jue Viole aims to take down Jahad, and Proctor Love decides to make an exception and offers Viole an opportunity to go alone. Bam accepts the offer, and the contestants then rest for the night. Ju Viole meets Ja Wangman in the bathhouse and tells Ja to keep track of his ring since it is a Jahad ring.

At the end of the episode, Proctor Love intends to stop Jue Viole while talking to the director while the test awaits Jue Viole.
