With all the anime confirmed to be on the way this summer 2024 anime season, it's not easy to keep up with it all. That's why we want to recommend Wistoria: Wand and Sword as one of the anime shows that you prioritize watching every second of.

Crunchyroll reports that this anime will officially be released on Sunday, July 7; a date that will arrive much sooner than you think. But before you do tune in to everything that is in store for this anime, we want to tell you all about what you expect, including the cast, official trailer, and, most importantly, the juicy story at the center of it all.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword features a resilient protagonist who differs from the rest

Wistoria: Wand and Sword tells the story of Will, a boy who doesn't have magic in a world where magic is the norm. Society looks down on him because he is an outcast with many odds against him. Rather than accept his reality and live his life as an average Joe, he goes against the grain and chooses to use his sword to carve out a path for himself to be someone society takes seriously.

Read more on the official synopsis below.

"A hard-working boy named Will enters a magic academy in hopes of becoming a great sorcerer. Unfortunately, there's a fatal flaw in his plan: he lacks the ability to use magic. Amid the cold stares of his classmates and instructors, Will feels discouraged at times, but he presses forward with unwavering determination. He can't use a wand, but he can wield a sword in his battle to reach the top of a magic-dominated world. He just needs to believe in his own unique strengths and remember the promise he made with someone precious to him..."
