The previous chapter opens up with a confrontation of Tudor and Grenouille. This noble from the Leviathan family was picking on Pigi. That's when Tudor, Sancho and Vikir stepped up to save him.
Grenouille doesn't like how Tudor spends his time with commoners despite everyone inside the Academy having the same status. He then says how Tudor was a loser for not being able to catch Night Hound and he would have easily caught him.
That's when he releases his poison gas into the air which was instantly sucked by Vikir's new pet who is the child of Madam Spider. But for now, no one realizes that because Vikir quickly hides his spider from everyone.
After that, we see Grenouille challenging Tudor in the upcoming team battle in midterm exam. The team who will score the lowest score will have to run naked in the whole Academy.
Tudor has already formed his team which includes him, Pigi, Sancho and Vikir. However, that's when Vikir rejected his offer and told him that he was already partnering up with the Baskerville brothers. He has already made a promise to him.
Actually, Vikir wanted to stay away from any fame he could get at the Academy. Now, Bianca has joined the team of Tudor. Meanwhile, Grenouille has also recruited Sinclair into his team in order to beat Tudor in the midterm exam team battle.
