Chapter 172 short recap
Lloyd wants to stop the time and start the construction immediately. However, he has to build a village first which can house 1000 people.
Lloyd then transformed into a demon king which was kind of cringe to Javier and Artanis. However, he cannot give up the performance because he wants to convince the demons.
But the response from demons was very vague. Artanis told him that she had acknowledged him as a demon king, and that's why they were only treating him like this. Traditionally the strongest demon becomes the demon king.
Now, Lloyd wanted to know how he could defeat the strongest demon and what kind of duel was going to be. However, Artanis tells him that the duel is forbidden by Cretos. However, he can fight an official duel which is Rock, Paper and Scissors.
Lloyd was wondering who was more crazy: Cretos or the novel author. To get the respect and full authority of demons, Lloyd needed to fight and win this duel against the strongest duel.
Javier was shocked to know after learning about the duel and the game. Both Lloyd and his opponent were swordmasters, so they could probably guess each other moves with tiny movements.
The duel finally started and guess who won? It was Lloyd, however, he did kind of cheat in that. However, he was the final winner and every demon finally bent the knee in front of the new demon king. Now the time has come for demons to carve the stairs on the mountain in the upcoming chapter.
