What happened in Chapter 518?
The previous chapter starts with the private discussion between Jay and Veil. Jay wanted to know what happened between Michele and Veil and what he did with him.
Veil tells him that he has killed Michele and Jay is stunned after listening to that. However, then Veil tells him, that he is just joking and he shouldn't pay attention to it.
There is no need for him to get involved with the people who are behind this as it is very dangerous to him. He should only focus on cycling and should ride only for himself, not for others.

This talk hit hard for Jay as he started to remember why he began riding bicycles, how everyone told him he should do the things that he loved the most.
Even his uncle said that he should ride for himself and have fun. Veil then provides him phone where he sees the last message that his uncle recorded for him.
The same goes for the discussion between Monster and William. Monster hopes that William has a better understanding after his recent pep talk.
Jay then informs Dom and Monster that now he needs to go back to Korea as they have got what they wanted. Now it is time to focus on the tournament. But before they can head back, Veil asks them to have a competition between them.
