As reported by Anime News Network, Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus is expected to adapt the University Student Arc, the story of the manga’s light novel released in July 2023. This arc shows characters like Mai Sakurajima in a new setting, going through the ups and downs of being a college student. She will meet new people and have tons of new experiences. No matter what, she will continue to be the amazing person we’ve always adored.

New voice actor gets added to Rascal Does Not Dream family

In addition to Asami Seto returning to voice Mai Sakurajima and Kaito Ishikawa returning to voice Sakuta Azusagawa, Yakuza Fiance and Mashle voice actress Reina Ueda will join the cast to voice the new character, Miniskirt Santa.

The crew returning to bring this show to life features Soichi Masui as the director, Satomi Tamura as the character designer, Yoshikazu Iwanami as the sound director, Masahiro Yokotani as the series composition writer, and Fox Capture Plan as the composer.

Cloverworks will once again be the animation studio in charge of Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus.
