The official account of Oshi no Ko manga on Twitter/X has just tweeted that there are only four chapters left before the manga truly ends. The final chapter will be published in Young Jump issue 50 and there will be no break between the chapters.

What happened in the previous chapter?

The previous chapter starts with the confrontation between a father and a son. Hikaru's vision was slowly getting blurred, his strength was losing and he finally realized that he was going to die.

We see his inner monologue where he was only alive when he was Ai. He wanted to feel that feeling once more. According to him, he would have felt the same feeling if he could have killed Ruby and that's how we see him drown.

At the same time, Aqua was drowning as well. Fans then saw the crow girl standing above the ocean and whispering, "So, have you found your mission?"



Next, we see Aqua's inner monologue where he finally realizing that the reason why God allowed him to have a chance to get reincarnate was not for revenge, but to protect his own sister.



That's why he was born as a twin. We then see his and Ruby's twin moments of their whole life together and it literally brought tears to my face. Aqua's last words were, "Thank Goodness, this time I can die before you."
